Guided Plant Walk at Oak Point

Wednesday, February 14, 2018   10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Explore the plants of Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve with Master Naturalist and native plant enthusiast, Carol Clark. Suitable for ages 5 and up, each walk will be different as we cover different areas of the park. Sturdy shoes, long pants, insect repellent, and water are recommended.

Meet in the lobby of the Nature Education and Retreat Center next to the large circular parking lot off Los Rios, just east of the Los Rios and Jupiter Rd. intersection. The walks are free of charge. The city of Plano requests that you register, which you can do online if you are a resident of Plano or have registered with them in the past. Otherwise, just arrive a few minutes early to complete the free registration with the desk attendant in the lobby.

Location: Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, 5901 Los Rios Blvd., Plano, TX 75074
