Bee The Bridge

Please join us as Brandon and Susan Pollard talk to us about sustainable urban environments, native plant and pollinator habitats and their vision of what our future as naturalists could hold.

Meeting will be: Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 6:30 pm

Susan and Brandon Pollard have been counted among the forerunners of the Urban AG movement in North Texas and Urban Apiculture pioneers in America. Decades of trailblazing and  grass root efforts have been their penchant. Containing dynamic advocacy for regional honeybee populations while creating a sustainable livelihood has been the goal. “Bee the Bridge” is the motto; Conservation. Education. Artisanship. is the signet of the Texas Honeybee Guild.

“Looking through bee’s eyes” ever allows the vision of the compound and layered aspects of regeneration, also a sense of place to take hold and prosper in the collective Us. “Superimposition of the newest prairie frontier and the oldest prairie frontier” allows a template for the reset, recovery and return of the native plants-pollinator habitats on private and public land in the DFW metroplex, adjacent counties and concentric zones beeyond.
