Meeting will be: Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 6:30 pm at the Episcopal School of Dallas
Frogs–They are Calling….are you Listening?
Frogs are all over the metroplex, but you are more likely to hear them before you see them! Join Jessie Crowley, Lead Naturalist Educator for the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and frog lover for a few tips and tricks to ID local frogs and toads by sight and sound. We will end this presentation with a night hike to listen for frogs in the area. There will also be a few live frog species on display to view before the presentation.
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a BS degree in Animal Science, Jessie worked as a herpetologist at the Dallas Zoo. She currently works at the Perot Museum as the Lead Naturalist Educator. When she is not teaching school programs or camps, you can find her writing curriculum, taking care of the live animal collection or leading the Jr. Master Naturalist Program. Being an active Texas Master Naturalist, she enjoys volunteering her time to educate youths and adults about local flora and fauna, especially frogs!
