Ag Business Workshop and Farm Tour
Friday and Saturday, September 14-15, 2018
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and the USDA present an introduction to agriculture business open to veterans and anyone interested in production agriculture. Topics covered include rural business ideas, possibilities for farming/ranching with a physical limitation or disability, business planning basics, funding sources and opportunities. The program is free and includes a farm tour on Friday, Sept. 14.
The agriculture workshop is part of the USDA project, Battleground to Breaking Ground. It is designed for military veterans, active duty military, veterans with or without disabilities, their families, small-scale producers, and those interested in starting an ag business. See flyer below.
