Bee Wild – Pollinator Conservation

Sunday, April 8, 2018  1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

The UT-Austin Department of Integrative Biology is presenting an event at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center on April 8. The featured speaker will be Dr. Laura Burkle of Montana State University. Her topic is “Bee Wild! Stories of the Science and Conservation of Pollinators.” Dr. Burkle’s research focuses on the biodiversity of complex communities of plants and pollinators in both wild lands and managed systems and the effects of climate change, land-use change, and disturbances such as wildfires.

The lecture as well as a reception that begins at 11:30 AM are open to the public and free to attend. Let the Admissions Kiosk staff know you are here for these activities. See flyer below.
