Blackland Prairie Raptor Center – First Saturday Event (FYI)

Held on the first Saturday of every month.  Check back often for program of the day.

Have you heard of the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center?  BPRC is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to environmental preservation through public education and the conservation of birds of prey and wildlife in their natural habitat.  It currently has a permanent facility on the shore of Lake Lavon and houses 14 education raptors.  BPRC holds a first Saturday event each month from 10am to 4pm (earlier in summer, see above).  All adults and children are invited to participate.
