BRIT Brown Bag Lecture Series

The Brown Bag Speaker Series at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas this month will feature rare and federally-petitioned plants of Texas. The US Fish and Wildlife Service has initiated status reviews for 12 rare Texas plant species, which were petitioned for listing under the Endangered Species Act. Anna Strong of TPWD will explain the role of the Texas Natural Diversity Database, which is maintained by TPWD, in completing status reports for each species.
The program is free. It takes place Tuesday, April 3, 12-1 PM in the BRIT Commons.
