BRIT First Saturdays occur on the first Saturday of each month.  Each First Saturday features a unique selection of programs and entertainment focused around a particular theme.  These programs will include lectures, book chats, exhibits, classes / demonstrations, and more.  Entertainment and events include: Ask a Botanist, Plant Preservation Studio, Bella’s Story Time, plant walks and talks, public tours, lectures, exhibits, demonstrations, and more.

Farmer’s Market  – BRIT hosts a monthly farmers market on the first Saturday of each month from  April through October, 8 a.m. to noon.  Our farmers market features a variety of fresh, seasonal produce from farms and community gardens located in and around Fort Worth.  We are also pleased to offer a variety of artisanal food items such as jams and preserves, baked goods, pickles, honey, olive oil and locally produced sweets including pies, fudge and cookies.  Family friendly entertainment is also present. Starts in April 2015.

Docent-led tours of BRIT are available: Thursdays: 1:30pm – 2:30 pm, Saturdays: 10:30 am

Location – 1700 University Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76107-3400 (next to Fort Worth Botanic Garden at the SW corner of University and Harley Avenue)
