Building the Denison Dam at Hagerman NWR (FYI) Saturday, June 11, 2016   10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Speaker Gene Lenore, creator of the documentary film, Denison Dam – Taming the Raging Red, will show the amazing history behind the construction of Denison Dam and the creation of Lake Texoma. After seeing the film, learn how Gene was able to pull together archival footage and more for the production. The program begins at 10:00 am in the Visitor Center meeting room.

The program is free and open to the public.

Location: Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, 6465 Refuge Road, Sherman, TX 75092
Use Refuge Road from HWY 289 to reach the Visitor Center.
