By Elm Fork Chapter of Texas Master Naturalist.  Walks recur on the last Saturday of every month.

Location – Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center, 3310 Collins Rd, Denton TX

The site – The CCNHC serves as a gateway to approximately 2900 acres comprised of mixed bottomland forest, wetlands and open prairie habitats with a surprisingly diverse flora and fauna, all surrounding the confluence of Clear Creek and the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. To date 176 species of birds representing the different seasons and ecosystems on the Center’s grounds  have been identified.
