Community Science: All About Ants

This workshop will take an in-depth look at ants. As the most numerous insect in the world, ants can be an effective teaching tool when learning about structure and function, life cycles, inherited traits, instincts and learned behaviors. During this workshop you will participate in a community science project called Ant Picnic and learn how your students can get involved in this project.
