Student Service Day

When: October 26, 11AM – 2PM

Where: The Bath House Cultural Center

Calling all students! For the Love of the Lake is having its first annual Student Service Day at White Rock Lake on October 26th, 2019. This day is dedicated to bringing together students of all ages (Elementary level-University level) to maintain the beauty and health of one of Dallas’s most special places. Students can work together to collect litter and/or plant trees.

Not only will students have the chance to get their hands dirty, they will also have the opportunity to learn more about environmentalism by interacting with many different environmental organizations who will be present during the event.

The Student Service Day will take place from 11am-2pm on October 26th, 2019 at White Rock Lake. For more information about the event and how you can get involved, please email Olivia Beitelspacher (For the Love of the Lake’s Student Board Fellow) at obeitelspach@smu.edu.
