Growing Native Texas Wildflowers at North Haven Gardens
Saturday, August 13, 2022 | 1pm-2pm
Learn how to grow our tough Texas wildflowers by seed and transplant in this free class.
It’s time to get many of our tough natives started by seed! There’s more than just the adapted annuals and dependable perennials that flower– we’ll show you the amazing variety of Texas native wildflowers that you can grow right here to bring beauty, attract pollinators, and feed birds and other wildlife in your own garden. We’ll focus on the reliable annuals– the ones that can reliably re-seed to give you lasting color and beauty to the garden.
Relax in our indoor Gardener’s Classroom, and join NHG’s Rusty E. Allen as we give you a complete overview of the many choices, and discuss all the basics for success and year-round enjoyment of our wildflowers– whether it’s your perennial bed, meadow, or pocket prairie. FREE.
