Monarch Citizen Science Workshop
Friday, March 6, 2020   8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

As part of the National Wildlife Federation’s Monarch Stewards certification program, the Monarch Citizen Science Workshop will be held at the lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin on March 6 and repeated on March 7; attend either day. If you attend the Monarch Conservation Workshop, the Monarch Citizen Science Workshop, and the Gardening for Monarchs with Native Plants Workshop, you can receive the NWF’s Monarch Stewards Certification. You do not need to take the workshops in any specific order, and previous workshops will be repeated.

This workshop will include tagging monarchs; testing for OE; monitoring adult monarchs, larvae, and native milkweed plus protocols for reporting findings to research groups.

Fee: $65, registration required
