Native Landscape Certification Program

The Level 5 class of the Native Landscape Certification Program will be held Saturday, October 27, in McKinney. Level 5 is a supplemental enrichment class, Native Landscapes for Birds. It includes the rich bird diversity in Texas and their contributions to the natural world, current threats to bird populations, importance of native plants and plant diversity to the success of birds, and 50 native Texas plants to create and sustain bird habitat in your landscape. The class consists of an indoor training session and a 2-hour outdoor plant walk. The class is sponsored by the North Texas chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT).
Fee: $37 for NPSOT members; $52 for non-members
Only participants who have completed Level 1 may attend any subsequent levels.
