Here’s a wonderful opportunity to get outside early for a guided walk through the Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve led by BPTMN member, Carol Clark.

Description:  Walk along beautiful Rowlett Creek, through an old growth forest, or amble through a meadow of prairie wildflowers. The beauty and diversity of Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve will amaze you on this guided walk. Learn about the birds, plants, animals, and more, including their names, historic uses, and hidden secrets. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Carol Clark has been a member of the Native Plant Society of Texas for 20 years, and is a Texas Master Naturalist (BPMN). She is also a Monarch Watch Conservation Specialist, TWP volunteer and co-administrator for Texas Native Bee Co-op, a wildlife refuge owner and operator, and a Texas Bluebird Society member.
