“Birds in the Garden” with Gailon Brehm

Native birds do not confine themselves to any single garden, native or not, but there are essential connections between birds and the natural habitat – plants and other landscape features – that we will explore. This talk utilizes bird photos and sounds to explain behavior and life cycle. Identification of common bird species will be explained based on size and shape plus plumage patterns. Examples of native plants that provide needed food and cover will be highlighted as well.

The virtual meeting starts at 6:30 with social time, followed at 7:00 by a short chapter update from our president Rodney Thomas, and then shortly after, our feature presentation.
