In this presentation, Shenequa Crockett and Brett Johnson will provide a history of Dallas Parks and Rec working with communities of color, some of the challenges in engaging with these communities, and initiatives Dallas Parks and Rec have tried in the past – what has worked and what hasn’t. They will also talk about what they are doing today, and how Master Naturalists can support them.
