In conjunction with the 2022 Dallas Blooms Festival featuring Birds of Paradise, we are teaming up with Jennifer L. Bristol, birder and author, for a unique educator experience. Join Jennifer’s presentation on Parking Lot Birding from 10-11:30am followed by an educator workshop that will provide easy to implement ideas around using birds as a teaching tool.

Jennifer L. Bristol is a former park ranger as well as the former director of Texas Children in Nature program of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The 2018 and 2019 recipient of the Most Valuable Birder Award in the Great Texas Birding Classic, she has contributed articles to Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine and other publications. She also has served on the advisory boards for the Texas Wildlife Association and Travis Audubon.
