Project Flying WILD Workshop

The Flying WILD curriculum contains over 40 activities that teach students in grades K-12 about birds, their migration, and what people can do to help birds and their habitats. In this interactive workshop, participants will engage in activities about basic avian biology, migratory bird facts, bird identification, and environmental issues affecting birds.
Project WILD, a Texas Parks and Wildlife project, is “Wildlife in Learning Design.” It is a wildlife-based conservation and environmental education program for students Kindergarten through Grade 12. It emphasizes awareness, appreciation and understanding of wildlife and natural resources. It can be used by classroom teachers, environmental educators, park and nature center personnel, and anyone who works with children.
Fee $45, $40 Dallas Arboretum members; includes curriculum materials, coffee, snacks and parking
