Invaders of Texas Training

October/November/Any month/Any time

Invaders of Texas is a volunteer, Citizen Science program to detect and report the arrival and dispersal of invasive species. The program is coordinated in Texas by the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, University of Texas, Austin. Other partners include Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.

To participate in the program, volunteers should complete the online training, which consists of 13 chapters and quizzes. Go to www.texasinvasives.org/training to get started.
After training, your Citizen Science work will be reported as VH to Invaders of Texas, a Field Research opportunity.
