Shorebirds at Hagerman (AT) Saturday, August 12, 2017  10:00 AM – 11:30 AM Every spring and fall shorebirds, such as plovers, stilts, avocets, phalaropes, and more, swoop through Hagerman NWR on their semiannual migration. Learn more about their life cycle, where they nest, where they winter, plus a look at the many species that can be seen here. Speaker for this topic is Dr. Wayne Meyer, ornithologist and Associate Professor of Biology at Austin College. Meet at Hagerman NWR in the Visitor Center Meeting Room.
