Super Saturday Butterfly Day at Hagerman

Saturday, October 14, 2017  10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Hagerman’s Super Saturday Butterfly Festival will be a full day of activities celebrating butterflies, especially the Monarch! There will be guided garden walks, monarch butterfly tagging demonstrations, talks on gardening for butterflies, butterfly facts, butterflies at HNWR, and monarch migration. Learn how to grow milkweed. Crafts and activities for kids include making plaster and origami butterflies and butterfly puppets, rock painting, seed ball making, and more. There will also be a native plant sale and plenty of indoor activities in case of rain.

Monarch Tagging and Presentations qualify for AT.
