TYHP Huntmaster Training (AT) Friday-Saturday, September 8-9, 2017 Huntmasters are trained volunteers who fill various roles in the Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP), established by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Wildlife Association. The TYHP teaches youth outdoor skills, safety, wildlife management, personal responsibility, and respect for private property. The lead instructors are game wardens, biologists, landowners, experienced hunters, and hunter education instructors.

The Huntmaster training is a weekend event where you will learn how our youth hunts are run and the tasks of our volunteers. You will spend up to 2 nights at the training location; food and materials are provided. All are welcome!

Fee: $90; $55 for TWA members. Fee includes meals, lodging, and all course materials.
