Statewide Quail Symposium
August 14-16, 2019  9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Hear leading professionals and experts in the field of quail management, research and conservation in Texas at the Statewide Quail Symposium. The symposium is hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and Texas Wildlife Association. All quail enthusiasts are welcome!

August 14 – A day in the field to see quail management strategies in action and learn techniques for evaluating quail habitat.
August 15 and 16 – Presentations by state agency professionals, land managers, and research scientists on topics including R3 initiatives and NGO support, livestock and quail, coyote as a predator of quail, use of GPS transmitters in quail research, quail census methods, and more.

Cost: $50 early registration, $75 at the door
