Beginning Birding

Birding 101 is a class is for beginning birders or birders who would like to improve their skills. The class is conducted over a four-month period, one meeting per month.

The first meeting is an orientation class, held at the NTMN meeting room at the Texas A&M AgriLife Office on Marsh Lane. At the orientation class, members learn about binoculars, field guides, identification techniques, and basic information about birding.

The remaining meetings are field trips taken in different habitats, increasing the variety of birds to be seen.
