On May 14th, Master Naturalists came together with Friends of Oak Cliff Parks and descended upon a privet patch at the Kiest Park Conservation Area. By the end of the day – MNs – 1, Privet – 0!
We also stained and sealed the kiosk, picnic tables and benches.
Our day was productive and we left the park looking incredible. And for a hard day’s work, we were then rewarded with a mini Forest & Nature Therapy hike given by Laurence Turcios with Slow Trails.
Many thanks to all who came out and made our Big Chapter Project such a success! See the rest of the photos from the event here.
