Dana Wilson

Dana Wilson describes herself as native Texan, born in Baylor Hospital. “I did my undergraduate at TCU and a Masters at UNT. I was a reference librarian – first at the Carrollton Public Library – then I taught English as a Second Language in community college; was the volunteer coordinator for Metrocrest Services; and worked for the National Audubon Society for the openings of Trinity River Audubon (Dallas) and Dogwood Canyon Audubon (Cedar Hill).

My long-time love of plants has led me to my current job at North Haven Gardens, and I’m a member of the North Texas Master Naturalists (class of 2001), the Native Plant Society of Texas, and am on the board of the Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest and Texas Discovery Gardens.
