Ricky Linex is a wildlife biologist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service which covers 51 counties in north central Texas.  He is the author of “Range Plants of North Central Texas, A Land User’s Guide to Their Identification, Value and Management” – a plant identification book for Texas detailing various regional grasses, forbs, and woody plants – which was honored as an “Outstanding Publication” by the Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society, the Native Plant Society of Texas, and the Texas Section of the Society of Range Management.
