White Rock Prairie

There are 16 units encompassing an area of 250 acres at White Rock Lake in Dallas which are remnants of Blackland prairie. The purpose of the project is to restore and preserve these natural areas for future generations and to involve the Dallas community in this effort. This is a partnership project with the Blackland chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas (NPAT) and the Dallas Park and Recreation Department.
