Birding and Life in the Lower Chain of Wetlands

Saturday, May 5, 7:30AM – 9:30AM

Meet at pavilion at S Central Park, 4753 Fellows Lane, Dallas TX 75216 in the Freedman’s Town of Joppa

Led by Ben Sandifer, Master Birder, we will see lots of birds but more: a Great Blue Heron Rookery, raptors, beaver lodges and a wide variety of other sights and sounds. Expect a mile or two of walking on paved and uneven natural surfaces.

Bring binoculars and a camera for birds and wildflowers, water and insect repellent; wear long pants and sturdy shoes.
