Vultures: Nature’s Cleanup Crew at FWNC (AT) Sunday, August 27, 2017  1:00 PM – 2:30 PM Vultures are some of the most common birds at the Nature Center. These scavengers help clean up the environment and help prevent disease from spreading. Learn about New World vultures, their adaptations finding food, and how to identify the local species. After an indoor presentation, we will search the Refuge for its vultures.
